The California Collegiate League (CCL) will hold their annual collegiate all-star game at Urban Youth Academy in Compton, California in July. The event will allow players from all the CCL teams to showcase their talents in front of major league scouts in a scout day/all-star game format.  Fox Sports West will televise the game live nationally and will telecast multiple times on Fox Sports West and Primeticket.


The Southwest Future All-Star Series is sponsored by ABDG, the Urban Youth Academy and the Major League Scouting Bureau.  The event will showcase 64 of the most draftable high school players in a 2 day event.  This event is held in June. This event is by invitation only and players must be nominated by a high school coach and verified by the event commitee.

Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim Manager, Mike Scioscia, Mike Scioscia’s Amateur Baseball Development Group, the Major League Scouting Bureau, Urban Youth Academy will be sponsoring the annual Southwest Future All-Star Series. These organizations have taken a pro active approach in the development of baseball in Southern California through grants, clinics, and showcase events. These showcase events are designed to bring exposure to young baseball players in our region. This year’s Future All-Star Series will feature top high school underclassmen from the Southwest bringing professional scouts and college recruiters to the event.

The Ventura County All-Star game will be held at Conejo Creek Ballpark in June on Father's Day.

This All-Star game honors the best graduating seniors in Ventura County.
